Geoff and I wishing we brought our typewriters to entertain ourselves during this superfluous case of being talked at (aka lecture).
Coffee houses offer me a sense of community, even though I frequent them alone. Uncommon Grounds in Saratoga Springs has a French Press brew on the menu, and the Lunk and I took them up on that. Sharing a French brew with a friend is possibly the best communal form of coffee that one can have at a shop. Sure, getting each our own drinks and chatting is grand. But sharing from the same brew device, deliberating over the hints and flavors, and going halfsies (or thirdsies, et al.) brings me that many more utils.
